We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Site Quality Specialist to join their team for a 12-month contract position, focusing on ensuring quality standards and processes are adhered to throughout the construction of a hydropower plant project in Europe.

· Duration: 12 Months
· Location: Austria
· Rate: Competitive Hourly Rate Dependent on Experience
· Work Hours: 200-240 hours per month

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Aerospace preferred) from an accredited university or college; or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years in similar industries).
· Freshly graduated Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in Mechanical with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn will be considered.
· Experience or interest in welding, machining, painting, and heavy mechanical construction is preferred.
· Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings and specifications.
· Knowledge of project management methodologies (PMI/Prince/PMBOK), quality tools (8D/RCA), risk management, cost of quality management, customer management, and APQP.
· Experienced background in quality and/or engineering and/or installation operations.
· Fluent in German is required.
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
· Implement and maintain quality management systems and procedures on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
· Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality requirements and identify areas for improvement.
· Provide guidance and support to project teams on quality-related matters, including welding, machining, painting, and heavy mechanical construction.
· Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of design requirements.
· Collaborate with project management and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
· Manage project quality documentation and records, including non-conformance reports, inspection reports, and quality control plans.
