Job opportunity to work with Shell for Malaysians with Supply Chain/Procurement experience.
Contract Engineer/ Contract Specialist.
3 year fixed term contract supporting Shell Upstream Malaysia.
Salary Range RM11,000 to RM19,000 per month depending on experience. Location Miri/Cyberjaya.
Sourcing and tendering – Plan, optimize and execute end to end sourcing activities by conducting should-cost modelling, supplier industry analysis factoring in business needs and advise on category management strategy.
Business Partnering: Be a thought partner and create organizational value by developing trust-based relationships and provide insight on integrated value and risk to facilitate strategic partnerships including material management and project to asset handover.
Operations Excellence & Compliance: This role is expected to deliver value using the provisions of Shell’s Category Management & Contracting Process (CMCP) and Petronas Procurement Standard (PPS). In addition, drive continuous improvement in process performance and eliminate inefficiencies while safeguarding Shell’s license to operate in line with our policies, laws, and regulations.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, engineering, business administration, supply chain management or a similar field preferred.
Not a requirement but is an added advantage to be professionally certified by CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or its equivalent.
Working Experience:
1. At least five (5) years demonstrated experience as a Contracts Specialist/Contracts Engineer or similar role.
2. Experience similar role within oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.
3. Good command of English both spoken and written.
4. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
5. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to support collaboration and operate effectively in a team environment.
6. Highly motivated and determined to strategically perform and continuously improve.
7. Motivated to learn things he/she is not familiar with, and adaptable to take that learning experience into good use.
8. Has an eye for both company interests and legal principles, combined with high standard of integrity.
Contract Staff : Salary Range RM11,000 to RM19,000. Location Miri/Cyberjaya.
